Robbie Dean Wallace Burnett was born May 8, 1932 in Macon County, TN. She
was saved at the age of 12 years old sitting on a rock behind the smokehouse at
home. She laid down her burdens and went to her new home in heaven on
December 28, 2020 in Portland, TN with her daughter Robbie Jean and
granddaughter Robin by her side.
She is proceeded in death by her father and mother Clarence and Ida Denham
Wallace, sister Willa Dean Johnson Knight, daughters Angela Ray Carter, Theresa
Thompson Gray and Lisa Thompson White.
She is survived by her daughter Robbie Jean Laverack of Ann Arbor, MI,
grandchildren Robin Carter (Joey) Farough and Ronald Carter of Portland, TN,
Sabrina Allen of Detroit, MI, Scottie Gray and Shane Gray of Portland, TN, Jeffrey
(Amanda) Rabon of Smyrna and Tabitha West of Murfreesboro, TN. Great-
grandchildren Nick (Cat) Huntsman of Donelson, TN, Michael (Caitlynn) Farough of
Bowling Green, KY, Wesley Huntsman of Portland, TN, Jessica (Michael) Johnston
of Sparta, TN, Jordan Carter of Bowling Green, KY, Trey Spencer of Detroit, MI,
Kaylee Gray of Twin Falls, ID, Camden Gray, James Gray, Christopher Gray and
Peyton Gray of Portland, TN, and Adeline Rabon of Murfreesboro, TN, along with
several great-great grandchildren.
She is also survived by siblings Alice Mai Wallace Hubbard of Franklin, KY, Bobby
Wallace and Charlene (Larry) Cundall of Gallatin, TN, Odell (Dorothy) Wallace of
Hartsville, TN, Toby (Teresa) Wallace of Lebanon, TN and several nieces and
She was a member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Portland, TN. She
loved and was loved by her family, friends, church family and all who met her.
Due to an abundance of caution, there will be a private viewing at Gilbert Funeral
Home and graveside service for immediate family at Old Brush Cemetery in
Portland, TN where she will be buried between her two youngest daughters.
